A friend of mine from up north gets good deals from time to time on various gear...most recently he sent me this message:

Got some decent deals on Talicas if anyone is interested, $435 for 8ii 10ii,
$480 12ii,
$535 20ii,
$575 25ii

Dam too bad I can't bring myself to sending money to someone I don't know. Those are some smokes hot prices. Where about up north maybe I can arrange for a friend to pickup for me.

Sacramento area... yeah I know it's hard when you don't know him, he is well know on scsurffishing but hes not on this site. Maybe I'll get a few off him and then I can resell then for a slight "brokers" fee...just wanted to give my fellow bwe members the best possible pricing (:

Finding a new talica 8-10 for around $400-420 isn't uncommon, not sure if it's worth trouble. If you can get your hands on some tranx 300,400 around launch date you'll get near retail.

I'll let him know...he's really not into making a profit off fellow fishermen just helps "bolster" sales for his company which is not fishing tackle...
