New to the forum. Looking for a Yak

Met a good human down at a local kayak shop near my place in Orange County. I predominantly fly fish the harbors on a pontoon but with my limited time these days due to a growing family, I'm looking for some pedal power. Hard to justify buying anything new. Looking for something I can toss in my truck, and hit the harbor for a few hours. Hoping to have something pedal power and preferably the ability to stand on occasion. Any suggestions that won't break the bank?

Thank so much for your help on this, stoked to be a part of such an awesome community of fisherYaks. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!

I think this would depend on what your idea of breaking the bank is.

Welcome to the forum

If you're planning to purchase say a hobie outback, you're looking at $1300 for a used standard boat. With upgrades you should expect another 175 or so.

I have a 2011 Hobie Revolution with a Garmin fish finder. I'm the original owner and have kept it good shape. I'll take $1,150 but nothing lower. Let me know if you are interested. I live in South Orange County. You can reach me at 949-254-4712.

Wilderness systems has a sweet new pedal drive kayak the Radar. Also for cheaper the pilot is also another great pedal drive kayak and won't break the bank by getting a hobie.
