Goin Fishin

Hay guys. I want to head out this weekend. Not really sure where to go. I have corrected my Oceanside Artificial Reef coordinates, so that is a possibility. Never fished San Diego Bay. Mission Bay could be ok. Then there is always La Jolla.

I am not really wanting to head out alone though. Its always nice to hang with someone else, especially if I am not catching but they are. At least it means there are indeed fish there.

Anyone want to head out somewhere?

I should be heading out of Carlsbad on Sunday morning around 6:00am and you are welcome to meet me there or out in the water later.

I also have a radio on so I can be reached on 72

I have never fished Carlsbad, so that should be fun. Where do you launch from?

I park at the bottom of the hill in front of the Power Plant and look to launch either between the jetties in front of the lifeguard tower or just a few yards South of the tower.

Parking gets scarce after 7:00 there so the earlier the better.

Heading out Saturday

I'll be paddling around Oceanside Harbor with the family Saturday in a couple of tandems, teaching the little ones to fish. May try to talk them into heading towards the reefs. If you are out there and see us, say howdy.
