Nobody laying claim?

For the first SoCal yak tuna of 2016 yet? Seems like it is time.

Numbers were 33.07.5 over -117.22.7 could not believe the volume of YFT just crashing on bait that close to the beach it was incredible. Sorry no porn was too busy grabbing gear not the cell phone.

I was out Sunday on my buddy's boat and a guy called in on a late afternoon bite about 6 miles west of LJ. 75-200# class foaming up. You'd be looking at a good 7-9mile paddle to get to the area from the shores.

We went looking today and we saw em at 6 miles, variety of size boils under big balls of terns. Nobody hooked up other than my released mako.

I will go again next chance I get.

If anyone gets one this year, we know you'll be one of them!

I want to try this weekend.

From what reports said on the size #50+ would be challenging landing on kayak?

Just picked up some 80lb flouro, and some circle hooks! Gonna have a few jigs, and a couple live bait setups. Hope I find some!
