Spawning Bass Await - Central Coast Report

Well year 5 of the drought has arrived and we had "5" lakes on the Central Coast that if you had a bass boat you could launch. Well that number is now down to "2" One lake being completely closed and the other two so low only shore access available. However your still able to get a kayak into these lakes and makes for some wide open water without other boats in the way.

So we took the yaks out this week at a local lake and found some bass that just wanted to play. It is hard to beat sight fishing for bass, just watching them suck the bait down and setting the hook at the right time. Its just so damn fun. Tossed this video together of some of the highlights and the persistence pays off factor towards the end with the smaller bass.
