After talking with Holy Mackerel today my son and I are in. We don't know many of those going but look forward to meeting everyone
We're looking at departing about 1pm on Friday and plan on tent camping.

Do any of you PST veterans have a recommendation for rigging your rods or other recommendations? Should we bring squid or just irons and sibikis?

It looks like the instigator is not going to make this one. My wife is flying home for a week to help her mom, recovering from surgery and the kids are with me. Hope all have a good trip. there should be a group that rivals the 24+ that were there in 2004.......next year I look forward to the posts and pix.

Andy

Speaking of Patron, does anyone know a good brand of mezcal to look out for down there? I drink enough of that smooth, tasty, good stuff up here, I want something smoky, firey, with a worm for around the campfire! :P

Well, combine a 'gar, Hook1's temper, and the existing Patron, and I'm sure he'll tell you all about his worm.

After a hard day at the Basura, I like this stuff, isn't Mezcal, but good... Cazadores...

If I had a hard day at the Basura, and to little fro-lady is coming over, I get some of the Cazadores, and take some of this to the baño...

It doesn't sound like much of the storm is expected to reach down past San Diego so I'm not letting it deter me.

/famous last words

Then again there's always the high road.
