Simply WOW!!
I have noticed lately that the fishing isle was not being re-stocked. Thanks for the heads up. Last edited by Mahigeer; 04-16-2016 at 10:20 PM. |

Try 30% off! I'm $1000 poorer today but tackle wise much better off 10% + %20 for action pass.

The one in Rancho Cucamonga is 10% off everything. Some sales associates said that the sales will go higher. I bought a bunch of butterfly jigs and a new rod with my action pass.

From the letter on their web page looks like it's all going under. Mission Valley in SD is 10% right now, not sure when they'll drop again.

20% off at the stores in both Irvine and Huntington Beach. There are some good deals to be had, but they're getting picked clean of all of the really 'good stuff'.

Mission valley was at 20% minimum as of last Thursday I think. Waiting to see what's left at 40-50% off. They have signs made up ask the way to 90%.
Talked to a long time employee and he figured stores would be around in to middle of June, maybe with some consolidating between local stores. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk |

Looked to me like most of it was overpriced by at least 20% to begin with.
Sports Authority going down as well. The Fullerton Sports Authority stopped carrying fishing stuff at some point. Don't know if it is all of them |

Yeah things only really start to break even saying 25-30% in my mind.
Need to check what sports authority has in terms of fishing gear here in SD... Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk |

their fishing gear is pretty pathetic here in HB, if you want little knick knack stuff then it's worth a try. many of their locations cleared out the fishing department about a year-and-a-half ago.

They deserve to both go out of business given their prices.

went to the point loma store on sports arena blvd yesterday...20% but nothing reel/rod wise for my liking. Smaller stuff okuma trio highspeed. Had a bit of tadys irons, glow egg sinkers, few owner j hooks, and some big hammer swimbaits left...
1 scotty rod holder left, few rail blazer accessories... dafin swimfins red/yellow gopros seemed to be gone but a few accessories left camping supplies still around i.e. portable grills if you are into biking they had a lot of bikes/gear upstairs...probably could get some good deals for that stuff |
