whale migration?

Hey all, I have family coming in this weekend and they want to see the whales. I was thinking of going out of oceanside or dana. Has anyone seen them lately?

Saw about five grey whales on Tuesday. At least two where young with their mothers.

Last Summer, the Humpbacks where crazy all over the place breaching, super cool.

I am a member of the Newport Landing email club and got this email a couple days ago.

87 Whales Sighted In Last 7 Days. Incredible Whale Watching & $13 Whale Watching Email Club Special
Dear Ross,

Hi Everyone

Amazing whale watching about as good as it gets with 87 whales sighted in the last 7 days (47 gray whales and 30 humpback whales) . Not only have there been lots of whales sighted but the quality of the whale sightings has been very good as well. Humpback whales breaching almost completely out of the water, lots of flukes with humpback whales and gray whales, and gray whales rolling completely upside down on the surface. Our whale watching captains are coming in at the end of a day with hoarse voices from getting so excited while narrating their trips. Not only are the whales cooperating but also the weather with summer time conditions perfect for spotting and viewing whales and dolphin.

I thought with the great weather and the upcoming holiday weekend this would be a perfect time to do a $13 whale watching cruise email club special. Enjoy this special from now through Feb 21. Just print out offer and bring in day of your whale watching cruise. To make reservations you can give us a call at 949-675-0551 or go online athttp://newportwhales.com/whalewatchingprices.html#reserve.

We will be offering multiple whale watching cruises daily on weekdays and weekends. Enjoying all of the neat pictures keep them coming.JJust email them to me atlia@newportlanding.com.
