Newport or Huntington Harbor, This Weekend
I'd like to hit Newport or Huntington Harbor for a quick session Friday evening, and possibly again on Saturday morning. All just depends on the weather. If anybody wants to meet up out there, let me know! I'll be looking for spotties Cheers fellas |

I hit Huntington harbor yesterday for nada! Lol I was going for mainly halibut drifting chovies. On the way in I hit a few docks with plastics still for nada but I didn't hit many docks. Maybe like 5 lol. I think I could have got some bass if I fished the docks all day with plastics but was hoping to get a Hali dinner.

I spent most of my time near the buoy line and the bridge. I drifted the docks on the way in and missed a bite or two. I was fishing 3" swimbaits. I saw a lot of bait underneath that bridge, where I caught that mac. I usually go to Newport, but I wanted to give Huntington Harbor a shot. |

I notice that you are in San Pedro. I've thought about fishing the outside of the breakwater in Long Beach harbor for bass and maybe some sculpin. Would you be interested in doing that sometime? I've done some intel. Check these links out. http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ad.php?t=20920 http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ad.php?t=17717 |

So I may be limited to going out only on Sunday. Let me know if you want to get out Sunday morning! I'd be game to go to Newport Harbor, Huntington Harbor, or the Long Beach breakwater, depending on the conditions. Weather forecast shows a 40% chance of showers on Saturday night, and a slight chance of showers before 10am on Sunday. |
