In case I ever complain about the cold again, I'll just look this picture from today... Spoke to the guys and today was a great fishing day.. Spend an hour and 4 guys and a gal pulled on about 75 rainbows.. Almost all released.. Colorado River area by a dam..

Can't wait for some warmer weather..

I can't make it on Friday but will be there on Sat. You can put me down for bringing a large tray of Salt n Pepper Chicken Wings from the Royal Mandarin + 24 pack of cokes. (Sorry for the late response Ive been in Baja for the past 2 weeks w no internet access)

I also have 2 or 3 truckloads of good firewood at my house in Bonita but do not have any way of getting there as I have a Honda Accord. If anyone is in the area that is going that has a truck I can donate however much your willing to take.

The "camp" on Baja could use more firewood.

Nice meeting you Rob.

Have fun all, I will most likely have to back out due to the rain forecasted this weekend.

Stay dry and be safe all!

I know most of you are worried about the rain. I just checked the forecast and it looks like we are going to start drying out about 1:00pm thursday. Friday looks to be dry, Saturday looks like a chance of light rain in the evening. At this moment it looks like we are a go. We have until tomorrow to cancel our reservations. In the event we need to I will let you know as soon as possible, but as of right now...let's go have some fun!

Unfortuantely....

Guys although it pains me to do this, we are going to have to call the trip. Sorry to everyone that bought or prepared food already. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best, but the weather gods have different plans for us. I gave it as long as I could to hope for reasonable weather, it's not happening and it's not fun camping in the mud.

For those of you that have made reservations on spots we will have until tomorrow to go ahead and make our cancellations.

I'm gonna talk to the boys about rescheduling the trip. I'm thinking possibly the first week of February to give everyone time to work around their schedules....I will let you guys know.

Tony.

Don't forget Super Bowl is Sunday Feb 7th.

My Joe Jost Pickled Eggs will just have to cure a little longer!

Sorry for the late notice guys but our decision was based on a few factors, one of which is everyone's safety. There are many good weekends ahead of us, no need to go on a weekend that is at best, questionable. I was told that there were reports of water spouts in DP and tornado warnings further south, that may not be the case this weekend but it's better to safe than sorry.

Superbowl don't start until that afternoon, everybody should be home way before then...but im just putting it out there.

As far as tornado's and water spouts...I think that's a bit overly dramatic, but we want everyone to have fun. Trying to have fun in shitty conditions is not fun. Stay tuned guys, we'll come up with something....
