Is LJ going to be too Rough Tomorrow?

I'm hearing about a small craft advisory, is La Jolla Shores going to be effected tomorrow, and Monday? I was thinking about heading out either one of those days.

Sunday is your best bet. I dont go out over 3ft swells. I get nervous when the horizon disappears.

Check out the webcam on this site as well as scripps pier webcam. More wind tomorrow. Too many beautiful days locally to take a chance. I would pass and wait for the ocean to calm down a bit.

You're asking if it's safe to go out in a SMALL CRAFT during a SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY.

YOUR yak is definitely a SMALL CRAFT. Be safe and stay home. Yes it could be ok to go, Risking YOUR life is up to you, but risking the life of a resquer means someone else could die because of your actions.

What are the best links to check for weather, wind and water conditions?

I always start with this one for SD bay:
http://www.tides4fishing.com/

For La Jolla I start here:
http://www.surfline.com/surf-report/...lifornia_4812/

I don't know which is the best for severe weather alerts, so I use this one:
http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/san...arnings/347628

What are the other best links I'm missing?

Navionics Boating is a app I like for my iphone for plotting out my fishing routes and way points

Gone fishing

I knew guys were overplaying it . I did not want to stir you in wrong direction . Look at this easy launch . Although last week which was similar , on my way back in the surf was 3-4 ft on the low tide . Big tide swings like the ones currently taking place . High surf advisory 6-12' or more on the exposed locations. Report as follows . 1 short cuda released , 1 mako landed and released , cuople other hookups believed to be sharks . And one of the right kind lost after initial run while fumbling to get second rod put away .

I was up at Newport Beach this morning, and it was really, really rough. Lots of wind and white caps. Would be a good day to fix up the kayak and go through your gear and wait for a better day. Either that or go to San Diego Bay and catch your fill of spotties.

Mission Bay had wind and whitecaps on it today, cold too. I picked up our Malibu Pro 2 Tandem today but didn't get to try it out. I should have taken my waders but I didn't expect to get blown out on the bay. San Diego Bay was pretty windy also, I went down there for lunch while I was waiting to get some work done and it was cold and windy down there.
