OC Chapter
Yes Ed...there is an OC chapter forming.
We are looking for a president of that chapter to get it going and a board of directors for the OC area. CCA now has chapters setting up in L.A. and San Diego...The L.A. Chapter under John Ballotti has a really teriffic start...come on up to the L.A. meeting and we can talk about how the chapters work and where you can fit in to help with the new OC chapter. The CCA is moving right along on some conservation issues...We had a very informative meeting yesterday with Chris Goldblatt from FishReef.Org. We talked about constructing some artificial reefs off our So.Cal. coast in the future. We have also teamed up with "Ships to Reefs" and are prepping a boat to be sunk in the San Diego area. CCA has also taken over the White Sea Bass program from United Anglers and we're now paying the insurance for the program and we have a chair on the WSB board of directors at Hubbs SeaWorld "Team Sewer will be there!!!"...thanks for the warning George...we'll order extra tacos for Tony...!
