Brandon why did you install it side to side, I understand it also fits front to back and is much easier to open and access that way? Thanks for your post.

Hey bob,

Thought of installing in that direction but was used to opening this way from my PA. Tried sitting on kayak and opening and its not hard for me, and I am by no means small.

Understood, you sit higher in the PA, was harder for me to open that way so thinking about doing it fore an aft.

Usually i run my outback seat in the upper most position. Unless conditions are really unfavorable.
