Local YT?
Hey Shawn...
I've been on the bite the last couple of weeks on my skiff...the Yellows we are getting are all brutes...but...the fish are really moving around, it would be tough to stay on them and the birds with a kayak...it's your classic "run and gun" Fishin . Yesterday we started on the Flats then moved towards the outer Rigs and when we caught our last fish, we were a little to the north of the 150 spot...that's a lot of mileage on the kayaks. I'm up in Mammoth for a DFG meeting on the "new" proposed Lobster regulations or I'd post a few pics of this beautiful grade of fish.

Ive been wanting to do the same thing but it does sound a bit "fast" for kayak fishing. Think I'm gonna try to hop on my buddies boat instead 👍 😁

That's quite a trip in a yak! They killed it the past two days. Hope to get in on the action tomorrow! Heard they bit everything thrown at em! Big boys too

There was quite a few yellowtail carcasses inside the harbor if that matters. And, plenty of PBers were going in and out of the harbor yesterday. I must of counted over a dozen.
