Oh c'mon Zed there just big dumb fish... Well, if you ever need a wingman for those other little critters let me know, it would be great to hit the water with you again anytime!
Easyday: I think you were being facetious, but just in case, spinning reel = donation to the fish Gods... Minimum specs for sharks should be in the neighborhood of 500+ yards of 100# line, and a 26-40lb drag reel. You can get away with less drag requirements due to you being a secondary drag in your kayak. But the larger models WILL take line and go deep around 1/4 way into the fight. |
