Not much to add to the reports already given. I got some small to mid sized calicos. None of my pics came out great, and I didn't take many pics becuase I was saving my camera batteries for big fish . I guess they didn't get the memo.

Here are a few I did take:

Paddling out on the first day

The rocks protecting lil harbor with the camp in the background. The ocean was awesome the first day.

As close as I dared to fish to a beach on Saturday with the swell all sloppy

And of course the tourist shot of the casino in avalon from the ferry on the way home. The lee side of the island was night and day different than the weather side.

Thanks again Andy for setting it up, and everyone else that went for making the trip enjoyable even without great fishing or good weather.

Cold water and small fish. I thought we were going to Catalina and not Puerto Santo Tomas? Totally epic trip made so by my fellow kayakers. Thanks to everyone, especially Andy.

That is good variety steveooo. I only caught 2 kinds of fish. Calicos and a sheep. But I sure got picked a lot by those blupers. At least your YFC was in the right family. I didn't know you got a GEE-tar, either. You were in the right zone with those bycatch. Let's go back this w/e. Weather looks great!

No prob Adi. It was an easy crowd to please. After that day on the water, I could have fried up some Birkenstocks in batter and they would have gone over big.
Edit, pix:

Nice day, the day we had to leave...

Z

TRIPLE NIPPLE BITCHES! I can see that Fiero introduced some of you to LRC . Very cool pictures guys, thanks for sharing. Trips like that are fun even when you don't catch fish. I love the shot of Corey

Ed,

it was a great pleasure meeting you and Alan. You guys fit right in.

15 hours of driving just to make it for all the torture of loading up yaks and bags...

I bow down...

But get the hell out of Utah before you freeze.

It was great times, even without big fish.

I checked out the board - pretty cool! I'll be stopping by.

Hey Adi, we'll be down to LJ in June to take you up on the fishing offer. If this trip goes again in the fall I'm in also. The best part of this trip was meeting all the people. It was great to meet you too Josh. I have a better pic of the double bendo and the catch if you want them. Later
