I was out at headlands on Friday. I started early and had a bait tank full of macs (green and brown) by just after the moon set. By sun rise, everyone was out (sea lions, dolphin, birds and bait).
The wind in the early am morning was fine. Fished the outside kelp and inside kelp. I moved around for mostly sand bass. Nothing on live bait via the 3-way. Fished from 25-75 ft of water for the right kind. wa wa wa... My advice to beat the wind.. get an early start. |
