I made a little fishing video edit from Feb. - Check it out

Got bored and edited this little video. It's a minute long and is a collection of probably 3 sessions from the Carlsbad area, more specifically the kelp from the Campgrounds up to Tamarack. Check it out and let me know what you think! All fish released.

For the GoPro guys, are you using an extended battery pack? My camera dies pretty quick.

I don't fish much bass anymore. When I hook up to a screamer these days, just turn the camera on for 10-15 minutes of fighting.

Cool vid and fun fishing. I used to fish that Terra Mar point to Army/Navy academy area when I lived in C-bad. Bass and halibut 0ften move tighter to the beach when the grunion are running. Can be fun fishing. Mike

Pretty cool video. There's a lack of bass videos on here it was nice to see one. Got me fired up to hit the kelp soon.

Yea I love that whole stretch from Saint Malo to past ponto! There is reef scattered all over mixed with sand, so it's fun when you hook into a good halibut as by-catch and the surf launches always keep you on alert haha! The kelp is finally recovering from all the lobster boats which is really nice to see too.
