Caught a Black Sea bass at Dana Point

My friend caught a big Black Sea bass at Dana Point , he said it is very big and look like over 100 lbs he had to fight 45 mins......this is the pics he took.........

Nice! Did he have a successful cpr? Must have been a long fight, I see he had 3 smokes while reeling him in?

Agree, every video he posts has almost all fish on a game clip... a bass could be a .mm legal and it will be going home in his freezer.

legal is legal isn't it? what gives anyone else the right judge him on what he keeps if its legal? I personally release big bass and keep smallones but that's my personal preference I don't go around calling people poachers.

Those pics I took ... Caught him about a mile off Danapoint habor ... It's endanger species ... Soon as I noticed that he is a black seabass I helped him take some breathes then about 2 min he dives down ... I don't keep big fish... Big fat body I don't think it fit on my kayak lol... It's long fight he towed me about an hour ... His weight between 100-150lb about 5ft long

Your right, I just have strong opinions unfortunately when it comes to bass, they just grow so slow.
