I definitely wouldn't want any of those edges with fishing heavy weight. I believe you're thinking is correct on getting hung up under rocks more.

This is not photo shop
. The guy said he was out of town , took a month to receive the product and his helper sent me these accidentally . . He says they work great in surf , better than the traditional pyramids . I was trying to get a crap load of weights at a fair price . Instead, all I got was crap . I was hoping I could throw a bag of weights in tackle box and not have to worry about it till end of season . Some of the local shops ream the crap outta you . Close to $3.00 bucks ?
Last edited by TJones; 03-12-2015 at 08:43 PM. Reason: 10 oz . Let me know if you guys want to try em ? |

They do look like they'd work great for surf fishing, but from a kayak....crap!

You get what you pay for. Also a lot of local tackle shops barely make it out there. If you build relationships with your local tackle shop you wouldn't pay that much more. For example. I would much rather buy my gear from Bob Sands in van nuys than some stranger on the Internet.

I would rather go around corner
To bob sands also , but I'm tired of getting reamend . . Maybe I'm exaggerating ? How much is a 10 opz ? I Thought it was near the $3.00 dollar range ? The guy that sold me the weights contacted me yesterday . Keep my fingers crossed. Full exchange for correct product plus extras . If this goes as planned , I will be good for a couple years , hopefully .

Squidco will usually give you 10% off when you buy more than a dozen. I bought a few dozen torpedo's of different weight there the last couple years in a row.
