Cabrillo 3/8/15...FOUND A FEW AND A SURPRISE!!!!!
Bait: Found it at the mouth and later in the day scattered throughout the harbor, bite sized greenbacks with a few Spanish mixed in. Weather: Awesome! had to shed some clothes before 0900, the winds didn't really pick up until after 1200 Fished a few new areas and managed to find the few, some large and some small. Got-em in the yak and headed back to the launch Ready for the surprise? Recognize the 'firepower' on this kayak? What about now? WAIT A DOG-GONE MINUTE!!!!! Isn't that the open water kayak? The one that never fishes harbors because its to easy? Well, here's the surprise? Hope you can handle it? Are you sure you're ready? It's the O.G Yakojoe

As I packed the gear into my truck, glanced back down at the launch ramp, and saw you guys posing for this picture, I was reminded of the famous Nixon/Mao photograph. Lets bury the hatchet and let the peace negotiations begin!

You're right!....especially when yakjoe didn't even catch anything...I didn't even know that was possible...I thought it was just a matter of dropping down getting bit and winding it up...? I.E - You know...one shot one kill..?
