Lobster 11-16-14 la jolla

Launched at la jolla yesterday around 4 for some hooping. On the way out did the normal tasks, bait cages, get glow sticks ready and so on... About to drop our first trap at sunset and a little tangle with the rope and the black rope on the promar ambush nets. Ends up being impossible to undo on the water. I have no idea how this happen because I make sure all the line is organized and not tangled. Few minutes later after dropping our other net, kicking through some kelp, I broke my Hobie peddle. Where the wire connects to the chain... Luckily I had my buddy in front who had a peddle and could kick. Luckily the lobster were biteing though! First net we pulled up 2 keepers. 2nd net 1 keeper. Was slow for an hour and then around 730 it picked up again... Was in by 830 with 5 keepers

Nothing better than catching bugs whether legal or not...
