moon over LA JOLLA

Started out Friday took day Off AGAIN??? BOSSES knew I was going fishing, it was calm but breezy tried to launch at 6 but was a little late great moon set over the west though. tried to make bait geeeezz!!! tough, met ROBFISH said Hi. After a while saw Schools of bait ripping the surface like machine gun fire!!! thats when I caught the monster sized macs and greenies, too big but tried to troll anyways until the dogs 211'd them!!! Went bottom got 3 Boccaccios barely fit in the sink, one sculpin and the rest red and verms cooking dishes for my parents after football. Made speed racer on the flat water comin back to shore. still a great day even though the YT is eluding me still

That's a nice catch right there. I got a nice pic of the moon on the way down the hill the other day.

Looks like you've got the rockfishing dialed in pretty good. Nice catch.

Nice rockfish, those ones on the left are HUGE! Glad you got a sculpin before the closure this week, they're good eating!

Nice haul Raymo!
It was great to meet you out there. Once the wind subsided, it turned out to be a nice day on the water. That moonset was wild along with the crazy colors in the sky.
No love for me, as I cut my day really short, as I forgot my sunglasses. Doh!
See you out there soon.

Nice work! Were the Boccacio suspended at all?

Thumbs up

Yeah sculpin gave it his best and he was tasty!!! The bocc were fun and one actually chased the Lucanas from the bottom up as I was retrieving,,,, Its always surprises me when nice sized fish are aggressive like that. Had to remind myself there is a limit on those. I think the spot I marked prob had more since I caught all three in the same spot!!!!
