JUST AN FYI GUYS.....
LA JOLLA BEACH CLOSURE EXTENDED TO LA JOLLA COVEfficeffice" />>>
Children’s Pool closure extended to include La Jolla Cove and accessible beachline 500 feet east.>>

>>
A sewage spill that occurred Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 1132 Prospect Street in La Jolla has prompted the closure of Children’s Pool, South Casa Beach, and other beach access points extending approximately 1,000 feet north and south of Children’s Pool. This closure has been extended north to include La Jolla Cove and accessible beachline 500 feet to the east. Signs warning of sewage contamination are posted at Children’s Pool, South Casa Beach, La Jolla Cove and nearby beach access points. The signs will remain in place until samples confirm that water is safe.>>

Check the web cam, tourist going full bore out on the rental kayaks. It is just a little more congested at the launch, because they built a large berm around the sewage outlet.

Conditions look great on the WebCam... sometimes I wish the camera was in HD and could zoom-in on things that are "more interesting".

it doesn't say anything about La Jolla Shores which is where the launch is. Casa Cove is south of La Jolla Cove and not near a La Jolla shores.

Last Saturday I saw advisory signs at the launch and next to the steps by the showers.
