LJ 9/21 Hail Mary Bait & We Be Chillin'

Easy launch today but tough making bait for me. One nice greenie and a few brownies. The seadogs ate the greenie, the seadogs ate the brownies, they were relentless. Tossed the iron for a while to give it a break. Jigged up one monster mac for the ride back in, the Hail Mary bait. Headed wide to right field for the ride in, to get away from the dogs and the kelp. In about 90' of water my contemplation is disturbed by the buzz of the clicker. Well, yes indeed, it will be fish tacos tonight.

Kitty cat seems to agree, get on with the filet will ya', I'm hungry...

Pete,

I've got a cat, that is, a Tabby too. He has developed a
taste for fresh fish. And, he nags me for fish more
than the fam does. Beware.

Congrats. Great story great catch.

nice story and happy ending! Congrats!

Those !$@#$# seals.... still haven't figured out the best technique, other than lots of bait and prayer.

Just think if there could be a 1-day hunting season on seals....!

Congrats on the Yellow. Persistence is the only thing that seems to work against the Knuckleheads. Too bad we can't have some Eskimos spend the winter here thinning down the seal population.

Nice fish! I got bit twice yesterday, but no luck, think it was small Bonito since my bait had some teeth marks, but still alive
