LaJolla sand tires

Hey All,
Newbie on a PA 12 thinking of heading south for my 1st LJ experience. Mostly been boat launch launching and dock launching in Redondo and San Pedro with a successful surf launch on the outside of Cabrillo Beach. Got tumbled on the way in and learned some valuable lessons. Leash everything you care about, and follow the wave in, don't try to go between waves. Anyway, back to LJ, can I get away with the Hobie heavy duty cart or do you need the balloon wheels?

Steve

Drive up to the waters edge. Sand wheels are night and day difference though. I miss mine.

It's solid, last time i drove on the beach (which is a new experience to me). so you might not need wheels. It's an easy surf launch, comparable to Cabrillo.
