Nice, has there been any good action in the kelp area lately? Might hit it up next weekend.

Oh man, your missing out on the shallow water rock fish action. (Cabezon, sculpin, rockfish, and calico) every time I've been there. Maybe next time I'll bring shrimp in hopes of sheephead! !

Nice!
Was a pleasure meeting you and Tony. Gonna try again up coming Sunday using your insights, hopefully I can finally get one for an avatar and break in the gaff. Nice vid and tip of the day, After all the runs to the sewer empty handed, I wouldn't mind buying Last edited by Bendo; 08-18-2014 at 01:00 AM. Reason: Adding |

Fished Sunday,too
Nice meeting you again in the parking lot, Jorge. I hit up the bait barge instead of trying to find/make bait. The barge had monster size sardines, and a few perfect size ones thrown in.
All it got me was a shortie halibut by the time I got off the water by 1100... Although I had more than a couple of raked baits. Next time.... |

In general, I stay near Jorge by about 50 inches. I encourage any kayakers on the water to do the same.

Greg you got that right, gramps called them race horse sardines, said it took a big butt to catch them.
