Newport or Cabrillo on Sunday? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Anyone going to either Cabrillo or Newport on Sunday? I like the kelp and close launch at Cabrillo, but if I want bait from the barge, it's a long trip, and it's an hour drive from Brea. I'm thinking of Newport because it's closer, and the barge is conveniently located near the harbor mouth. And if there's no luck on the Rockies then I can hit up the kelp just outside the harbor. What do you guys think? Anyone hitting up either of the two on Sunday?
