FISHING TACKLE SWAP MEET...CERRITOS...5/18

There is another fishing tackle swap meet this Sunday. They did this twice last year and there was a very good turn out at both. This is a great event that is a fund raiser for the Daniel Hernandez Youth Foundation. They use the money they raise to take kids fishing. You do not want to miss this one. There will be over 50 vendors with all kinds of stuff from vintage collectable to brand new rods and reels.

I can not bring everything with me so if there is something you are looking for in particular please contact me ahead of time. Please call or text for best response. I will try to answer emails as quick as I can. If you do email please leave a phone #.

I am open to do some trading as well. Only for other fishing gear. If you have something you would like to trade please bring it with you.

I'm hoping to make it. If you have any Shikari type blanks, hybreds, in 7' to 7.5' something like 30-60# bring them. Any Makari,s of Cedros LD (I know, wishful thinking), Fathoms? Any Fly reels?

John, I was the last time; I ended up with more than I expected, a couple blanks, and several reels. I got the reels home, and did my usual, took them apart lubed them up, and was all ready to replace the drags. They were all perfect on the inside, with an outside that closely matched.

See ya tomorrow.

John, once again I spent much more than I had planned, but thanks. You never fail to have a very large selection of quality gear, for anyone's budget. Please let me know if you get any more Makaira's.
