Other than he has a very small thresher, which I guess he could have released, and a fairly large leopard, why? Both species are good to eat.

+1 on that. People may disagree but I've released plenty of thresher allot bigger then that and then kept one of similar size due to the fact that I don't have the means to keep any more meat in my freezer. You can only give so much away. I also don't like taking more than 1 per season

Those guys that keep YT under 30 pounds ......why would they do that?

We as fisherman....should be the last ones putting down other fishermen for making perfectly legal catches. I may not agree with his choice but who am I?

Some guys eat largemouth bass......many release.

Man, that kayak is WAY overpriced!

I guess if the new standard is "it's legal", than next time I land with a couple of these couple days old pups no one's going to have a problem than huh?

Fuckit, there's hundreds of them.

I'm pretty sure "legal" has been the standard for a long time. You might not like it but what can you do?

People have different opinions.

Where you can fish, and where you can't fish.
What you can keep and what you can't keep.

Where I can live and where you can't live.

We can't make everyone happy, and we also can't control people.

That's why people get together and make up all the regulations of what we can fish and what we can't.

I'm surprised Matt is the only one that seems in more disbelief over the price of the kayak then the catches in back. I understand that yak is old but at that price he must consider it to be an antique and therefore a collectible! If I was to drop that much money on another kayak it'd never be that one.

You could land with six of those and I wouldn't care. Hell, I'd ask you if I could keep one for myself. I'm sure that we've all kept our fair share of 12" bass or 22" halibut............as long as its being consumed and not being tossed in the trash when you get home why argue about it?

Fact. Don't take more than you can eat. Usually release. I've caught big fish and released and kept smaller barely legals, just depends on how much room I have in the freezer
