Paddle size help???

I'm new to kayaking. I just purchased a used Cobra fish and dive. I have taken it out 3 times now. I want to buy a Werner Tybee paddle but I'm not sure what size. I'm 5-11 225 pounds.

Get at least a 230cm. That's a wide ride .

I'm 6'3" and have a 250cm paddle for my 34" wide malibu kayak. I think your kayak is 36" wide? I'd probably go with a 240cm or maybe even 250cm. Just my 2 cents though.

When you paddle, are you a high-angle or a low-angle paddler?

I had a FND and used a 220cm with no issues. Just concentrate on your technique. I would still suggest a 230 at least.
