Hey Matt, too bad about the little one getting away, I haven't had a fish in so long I would eat any barely legal of the right kind. I got out yesterday for the first time since August. Bike training and work both ramped up and squeezed out my fishing time. Rode 104 miles today with BillO and Anthony, that kid can ride. We start our ride from SF to LJ Oct 20th, 600 miles in 7 days. I believe LJ will pop on the 28th. Hope to see you out there with another good fish. Dave

Hey Chuck,
Had my 3mm neoprene waders on yesterday and it made for a warm launch despite taking 2 over the bow!! Got a bit warm around 11 a.m though! Matt |

Nice you hooked into one yesterday Matt. I had a large boil on one of my baits and that was abut it. Beautiful day with tons of big porn star macs and pencil cudas hitting the iron all day. Warm water and tons of sun made it warm up quick. Spent most of the time dodging all the lobster bouys. Never did see knothead.

It turned out to be a really nice day! Clear skies, clear water visibility. Cudas boiling everywhere. They weren't harassing my bait, but they were fighting over the iron. Yellows were there, but none for me. I was comfy wearing wetsuit pants and a sweatshirt, but it got a little warmer when it was time to head in. I love the fall. Good to fish with you again Matt!

Matt, nice to see you had a good day out there. The bite finally picks up and it's the first weekend I've missed going out! Thanks for the report.
