La Jolla 8/4 Yellowtail

Great day at our fine La Jolla fishery. Caught on my 9' jig stick on a surface iron!! It was the only jig I had tied up when I marked em. Got it home and weighed it.....43" 23lbs

are you sure your scale is accurate

i would suspect that 43" YT, would weigh a little MORE than 23 #.
