County line: missing kayaker
By From staff reports Updated Tuesday, June 4, 2013 Authorities searched for a possible missing kayaker Tuesday evening near the Neptune's Net restaurant in the 42000 block of the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu after an empty kayak was found near the shore. |

Just googled that article....it's pretty vague, if someone was actually reported missing or they found a kayak adrift.....
Hopefully it's the latter. Reiterate the safety precautions..... we all wear our pfd's, never ever dive without a buddy, keep a whistle attached, radio, cell phone, go with a buddy, leave your ego on the beach...safety first

sucks..this is why I always go out with others.. Regardless of pdf, and rest of safety gear.. To many things can go wrong with just yourself like a stroke, etc
