Slight change of plan for me, will be launching from the Bahia and paddling to the end of Mission Bay jetty and drifting in with incoming tide, hope to be on the water about 7am, Malibu xfactor with just two poles and minimal gear in the deck, still need to get more comfortable with the yak and mission Bay Area has a little less boat traffic etc. Need to start off slow and get to know my limits

Well plans changed and I went out today - million boats in San Diego bay. Every knucklehead has his cabin cruiser out so keep a sharp eye tomorrow. I fished Tidelands targeting halibut and only pulled up a short 15-16 incher north of the bridge. I was really hoping to get on the board for Wades tourney today, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Oh - the sun is beating down something fierce! My feet are sunburned, so cover up!
