Update
As of right now Tuesday 1:00pm there is a high wind warning until tonight at 10:00pm.
Also a wind advisory that will expire at 10:00pm thursday night. I would say lets go for it, if the forecast on thursday says 15mph winds or less, anymore than that would just be a lesson in pure...PAIN. If it is more than 15mph I would say lets postpone until we get a better weather. From the forecast right now it looks good...but that can all change in a blink. As far as food goes...Everybody should be responsible for their breakfast and lunch. As far as dinner I think we can all get together and share. Bring anything you want, lets cook it up ! When we do these trips we don't come out here to starve..that's for sure. We usually eat pretty good out here. This is what I usually do for food: For breakfast, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, milk, juice...Lunch is usually hamburgers hotdogs, chips, drinks. Dinner is usually steak or pork chops/lobster/fish...potato/salad...stuff like that. If anybody has any suggestions I'm open for them. Anybody wants to make something special for the group I'm good with that, or if everybody wants to just bring food for themselves that's ok too. Give me a heads up on your plans. By the way I will be bringing my weber Q for grilling stuff, and my camp chef for cooking.

NWS and Accuweather say wind till Thursday night. Weather channel says til Monday of next week. Weather channel has let me down many times before.
As far as meals, I'm up for whatever the consensus is. I usually have a small quick breakfast(muffin, banana) and skip lunch on fishing days but not sure if my body can do that for two days in a row. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a very good chef but am usually good for side items and beer. |

Just checked out the weather again and all the weather forecasts have backed off on the wind, it looks to be a beautiful weeknend with low temperatures in the low 40s and highs in the high 70s which is much better than last weeks low 20s.
Also called the office again this morning, and according to the lady that was there she said that camping is still wide open, first come first served. All we gotta figure out now is how many lobsters drake is gonna bring? And how much beer robfish can fit in his trailer...? Don't forget to bring some firewood guys! Looks like we'll have to have 2 or 3 fires going if everybody shows up. It's gonna be fun!

Arrive Saturday early for me. I've got a couple of tasty treats (surprises for Tony) that won't let you guys down...I'll need space on someone's BBQ early in the process (appetizers). Plus bringing a load of Oak for the fire pits.

Mccrawls
Just got a visit from a fellow BWE member Stan "McCrawls". It appears that he is a local worm farmer, and just dropped off a whole bunch of worms for us to use on our trip! Thanks Stan I really appreciate that! Hopefully you'll be able to make it to our next Irvine trip!
Tony. Yes jorge everybody loves surprises!
