Also, if anyone is wondering (or being hesitant) the new M1 blanks are rated for saltwater. So, like mentioned above, pairing one of these rods with a new revo (I absolutely love my new Revo Toro Nacl 60!!!) would be a killer combo for Calicos!

I tried it a couple times, allways pulled up rock fish on 4 inch big hammers. Only time I got decent calicos was Coronado islands in mexico fishing off the malihini. Picked up a monster calico down there, the captain said mine was the biggest he has seen in person, and other than that the calicos show me no love.
Do you do any ultralights? I could talk myself into picking up a new one of those.
