hobie fish finder mount for elite 4?

went to oceanside dive and kayak to get a rail mount for the fish finder. guy there picked up two packets and said this is what i needed.

so i get home, get it together and go to put on my fish finder and whats this....

it doesn't fit...

it was now 4:45 and they close at 5... so no going back.

is there another plate i add to it or is it just the wrong plate?

btw, it was fine with one bolt while hooping tonight.

oh, and when they did the initial install on my X factor they didn't give me back my box or any of the extra mounting hardware that came with it. so now I don't have any of those parts if i wanted to install the transducer on the rear.

Ask for this one:
http://www.rammount.com/CatalogResul...9/Default.aspx

Works soo much better and quick detach as well! It's the one I use on my Elite 4

The mount you got is for the Lowrance X-4 and the Eagle Cuda series. You want the one that Jaws posted above.

Ram mount makes a real nice setup for the elite 4. I got rid of the lawrance mount.
