Storing your Pro Angler
Sitting on the floor, cradles? Read a forum in Texas where people were putting the PA on top of 3.5" PVC pipes, along the line of scupper holes. Is this OK? |

Mine sits on a carpeted piece of 4 x 6 plywood. Got a small amount of foam underneath the carpet. Seems to be just fine.

If you have the room, I believe Hobie recommends standing it up. I store mine flipped over, on padded sawhorses. If outside, cover it.

thanks for the posts.
i sit my on top of a converted PWC trailer...with the bunks turned 90 degrees i.e. like roof racks on top of our cars/suv. I am trying out the 3" PVC piples between the bunks and the yak. I am using the softer pipes, the type used for draining water from the garden. Just looking at it, there appears to be more give/flex on the pipes so they hug the Yak contour better for more even weight distribution. I am thinking whether to make this a permanent part of my trailer setup or just add the pipes for storage only. |
