Lovin' the local fish. Way to make that bite count.
Andrew, the only launch in that area is from Dog Patch. That's the next break down from Old Man's. New swell headed our way, could make for a fun launch.

Cool Catch!
How are the waves where you launched? Do you have a street name?

Yes, launch as far south as you can park. Then paddle out at a 45 degree angle to the beach going south again. That will put you in the easiest area to navigate the surf if there is any. There was next to none on Mon. when we went out.

Great Fish, Congratulations!!!!
For those who havent been to San Onofre beach park before... it opens at dawn you pay $10 and enter the parking lot from the north end by the military campground (church's) so if you drive all the way to the end of the lot it is the southern end. Old man's is where the big palapa and surfboard weathervain is. Its a super secret spot Dog patch is the very end of the lot... launch toward the nuclear titties. DID SOMEBODY SAY SQUI-SQUI-SQUID?!?!?!?! hahaha go get'em guys and be sure to heckle all those hardcore san o locals And watch out of the juvenile GWS's |
