What is the draw for having such a low profile? I can see how it would surf better, and be easier to lug around... but can also see how strength, weight limit, and dryness of ride could be negatively affected.
Is there some other benefit? |

I have one of these. Got it a couple years back at a Blem sale. I like it in the surf and that is why I mainly got it, to have fun. I am 6'3" 190 lbs and it holds me ok, but I do not use it much for fishing.

Do you only surf with it
Or do you take it for long paddles How's the ride And how do I find a blem sale How often do they come around I could always use a discount |

Was mainly for fun in the surf, but do not use it as much. It is set up for fishing, couple hatches and rod holders. I sometimes take it out to the lagoon in Carlsbad. Easy to paddle, can get some speed with it as well. I can definitely go longer distances than my other kayak (Cobra fish n dive).
As far as blem sales, I see you asked in another thread. I think you will get better answers there. |
