first wsb of 2012
17" sandie and a juvie 26" wsb. my second from the surf. really want to get a 40lber on the sand some day. condtions were pretty rough

btw. there was a recent release of wsb from the pens. so this catch does not confirm or deny any wsb activity in la jolla.

very nice out ther! my biggset WSB so far is only 18".. and that is on a float tube. i cant catch one on the surf for the light of me.

Ya it was caught on double squid with a 3way sliding rig. Same thing you use to drift for halibut with a few minor tweaks for the surf.
