Andy, do you carry the Mark 4 in your shop? Looking to buy another fish finder for 2nd kayak before Black Pearl trip.

Got mine on Friday Andy, and I love it. The back light is going to make this more easy to read in any light.

Right now through BPS you can sign up for 6 month pay. The unit I got is selling for $199 and the color one that someone posted up is selling for $299. So I am paying $50 a month for the next 6 months for this and I also bought a Marine radio. I love it when BPS does the 6 month pay thing.

You have to order online or over the phone using a Credit card.

I look at it this way, you are paying $100 more for color, do you really think the fish are going to bite better because of a color fish finder? Nope. That's why I chose the BW. I almost ended up with the HB 385ci but there was a mixup and so I chose to go with the one I got. I can't wait to test it out. Looks like that may be on the OEX tourney. I'll read up on the manual before I get out there.

You can always use a small drill bit to drill the rivet part. If you have access to the underneath part you can try cutting them off with a small set of bolt cutters or wire snips.

work it back and forth until it breaks off, if you are looking to fill the holes left, you can use rivets for that.

I just used a color FF for the first time today. I'll probably never buy one. I just use mine to mainly find structure. If I see boomerangs or worms on the screen that's just a bonus. If your hunting WSB or YT and you know what color they show up as then it's probably worth it. Besides, I'm color blind. So, knowing the colors wouldn't help much anyways.
