Launched @0500. Overcast, water 65, waves 1-1.5 ft, water vis. 10 ft (murky green), a light breeze out of the South.
Went to the pier to make bait.. tough.. Had a school of big greenies mixed with dines. Picked out a couple and headed to the kelp. It was a little crowded out there, but not as bad as other weekends. I did see and hear a couple of pber's getting into it while on the troll. Trolled and tossed irons for a couple of hours. Nothing.. I did hear of one yellow caught early, but that was it. Landed @ 930 to increasing surf. 2-4 ft, pitching waves. Lots of broken kelp and eel grass, made it tough to troll. Those were the conditions, at that time. Good luck to the PM shift.
Be safe,
Dennis
