I've got a Cobra Fish n Dive in great condition (it's a couple years old but no holes have been drilled in the hull and it has seen no abuse) I'd part with for $425. Includes seat, paddle and crate with 4 rod holders.

Yea. Looking into something bigger for those long paddles. I'm just not looking forward to the price tag they carry. But the FnD is a great kayak for a beginner. Very stable, lots of deck space and the priced to move.
I'm looking forward to going out again soon. Probably next weekend. And yea, the bite last weekend was slow as heck. Lets hope for good things next time. Randy |

FND are great boats. But really meant for larger people.
If you are not 200lbs + with strong arm strength, you'll end up selling it after 2 outings. |

If you are not a big guy, something like this prowler 13 for $400 would be a good boat that you won't have to upgrade for a few years.

i had a cobra marauder at first, took it out one time and i knew immediately that i would need to upgrade to a hobie. since then (june 2010), i have upgraded three times, each time.....a hobie. |

I'm going to keep an eye on this thread since now I need a new kayak too. Around 7-8 hundred would be nice. (Sorry for the thread hijack)

I actually upgraded away from hobie.
They are neat, I have owned 4 hobies. From outback to revo to sport. But went back to a prowler eventually. |
