We saw a couple of boats trying in the area, but they all said they were seeing them but not getting them to go. I'm kind of amazed private boaters ever catch these fish because they are very noise conscious. I think the yak is the real key (and even then we had to work it pretty hard), unless they are in stupid feed mode. But how often does that happen? Even this spring when they went apeshit at LJ, the boaters around us didn't catch squat while every other yakker was bendo.

I'll probably take another shot next month, weather and swell permitting.

In-fookin-credible...

Congrats to both you guys, you sure nailed 'em.

Should start calling those 'Albino Black Sea Bass', they are so huge.

Way to tackle the launch, always the best part...

Listo...

I was wondering how the kelp is down there, It appears thicker than what we now have but is it also healthy looking?

The kelp looks healthy down there:

Taken from the weekend before Brad and Adi's slaughter. My impression was that kelp bed wasn't that big, but the kelp looked much healthier than here. I didn't get any close ups.

primoridal archetypes evoked

Brad, that was awesome report and photos. I've looked at it several times and it ignites something deep in my brain each time.
