Quick trip 06/11/11
This was my second outing with my new installation of the Transducer. Using the Electrical Putty has shown me great results and was very easy to do. As many know there are some strange tide movements around Tidelands and today was not different. The drift sent me from the Coronado side of the bay across to the San Diego side of the bay. Just as I was approaching the San Diego side the fishing turned on big time. I landed 5 Spotted Bay Bass in 5 minutes. Here’s the first of the 5. All the others were dinks not worth measuring or photo’ing. Then I reset my drift by the Coronado Marriot boat dock and it was on again. I landed 3 more like this Then one of these joined the party. I told him to go wake up his mommy or daddy but they never answered the door. Total fish count for the day 10 Spotted Bass 1 Short Halibut 2 Lizard fish 1 Greenback Mac. All fish were released safely Called it a day at about 11 A.M. Short session but it was fun.

Thanks man, I love that that site. It was the site where I ruptured my bicep tendon last year but since then it has been very nice to me.

I played with the settings on the FF today and there was a setting that had an option for clear and once I selected that it was WOW, that's what I'm talking about. There's still a lot I have to learn about this FF but I'm willing and have time to do so.

Very nice. I Tubed newport for spotties today. Gonna have to make my way further down south for some of that action. Have you tried drop shoting 3' gulp minnows in green/yellow? It's a catcher!

I was using those today in Pearl White, I only had to pin on one bait for all the fish I caught with the exception to one bass caught with squid. All the others were on the Pearl White Minnows

Thanks man, I love the way Bay bass hit, they are some of the most powerful bass I have caught. I have caught LMB, Small Mouth, Calico, Sandies(they rank high up there too), but of all the ones I have caught the Sandies and Spotties are the most powerful.
