Pyramid lake Striperfest
I didn't stay for the weigh in but the winner of the event stringer weight was just over 18lbs and the biggest fish was a in the 3#. No pig stripers were caught but still a good day. I caught 3 schoolies myself all in the 12-15" range (perfect taco size). |

I plan on going Striper fishing the last weekend of the month. What kind of lures did you use? Were the fish on the surface or in deep water?

They can be found it seems anywhere in the water column. Anything that rattles, swimbaits, stumpjumpers or try trolling rapalas usually works. If no love on artificials you cant go wrong drifting anchovies,
