Dick's Closing

hey everyone,

not sure if anyone out there knows this or not, but i just went to Dick's yesterday. it turns out that they are closing up their fishing dept in all except san diego location for southern cali.
i guess they had been closing out their stock for a week or two. when i got there they seemed to have some good stuff but no reels. they had some high end rods though but you have to really look around.
i ended up buying some rapala, some tady's, hooks, and some other things. oh did i mention that everything is 50% off??? their items are reasonable for instance the tady that i bought cost me $4.50 and i got the 2.2 and 3.5 weight ones, the rapala was priced at $7.50 and that was for the mag13 size. it seems the freshwater things were the first items to go so that is a good thing for us.

there are a couple...cant remember exact cities but from what i saw on Bloodydecks i would guess they are pretty bare by now. Definitely worth a shot to check them out if there is one close. Maybe call and ask first.

ya definitely worth trying. i spent 160 bucks...quite a few big hammers and fish trap swim baits, some tady's, some line, egg sinkers, all the owners and gamakatsus were gone, very little spectra left as well. And i went probably 10 days ago but that was the store in Tustin. Also got a shimano trevala spinning rod. Good luck
