The Missing Link- Fishing Plastics & Rubbers

I just read about unibutter. Is this the secret ingrediant that i have been missing all my days of fishing?

From all the pictures and comments it looks like it works.

Is this the best kept San Diego secret?

Is this how the pros do it?

Comments please!

I feel some kind of scented attractant helps whether it is a gulp bait, Hot Sauce (one of my favorites) or Uni Butter. The good thing about Uni Butter is that it is made local here in San Diego and works. So you are supporting a local business, plus the local shops carry it including OEX. Hot Sauce is made in Huntington Beach so kind of local . I use them both and have both in mine and my wife's tackle box.

Uni Butter is great for the local waters since it is made with local sea urchin.

Unibutter is the best scent on the market IMO. I NEVER go fishing without a bottle or two. I even use it in freshwater.
I feel that it gets the fish to keep the bait in its mouth a little longer than it would without anything on the bait. It really helps when fishing jigs and you get real subtle bites where the fish is merely picking up the bait, not attacking it. It gives you a second or two longer to notice the bite and set the hook.

The best way to use it, is to buy a bottle or two and fill up a small tupperware with it. Then all you have to do is drop your plastic into the tub, rather than spending the time to apply the butter on the plastic with the bottle.

Good luck!

Seems like a waste of good uni.
